The design approach for the project was rather straight forward, in which the designer includes few material with different level of transparency. The lower level functions as living and dining as well gathering space has a rather transparent facade material(glass and roster brick). The upper floor, dedicated for rooms, a more private area of the house is designed to have a solid facade.
Facade design then become essential as it acts as the main access to natural lighting to the interior space. For this facade however, the architect decided to completely block sunlight access from main facade to second floor, while maintaining the opening only from the more-controlable side windows
