Facade design for PM House focus on its sun control and shading devices. We believe the design can improve user visual comfort by controlling glare and reducing contrast ratios. This also often leads to the increased satisfaction and productivity. Shading devices offer the opportunity of differentiating one building facade from another
The house is an example of a tropical architecture designed to well adapt to the local climatic context of Indonesia by being extremely open and porous internally and to its surroundings with a concept- Every floor is close to the green view and each floor has a different green view .
On the facade, combination of solid and large expansive window & greenery enables the owner to have a full control of letting natural light in or blocking it. Various opening allows wind to move through the house, cooling the spaces as it moves over and out through the ventilated glass roof / skylight over the central atrium, facilitating effective cross ventilation into the rooms at all level. It enables to reduce 1-2 °C
Well design facade, enables the owner to have a full control of natural light. Large expansive window on the 2nd floor and lots of opening in the house reduce the use of artificial lighting during the day .
We strived for a design strategy in which architecture and interior come together in a model combination. By linking interior components to the architecture and vice versa, the result is a high quality project which is not dependent of expensive materials but rich spatial experiences, resulting in simple façade with beautiful composition and function .
Making quality projects is, in our opinion, not always ‘the bigger the better’ or ‘the most expensive is better’
