The architect has develop the design base on client’s vision for the house which has open plan living and working space which blends seamlessly into green space along east side of the site. The house’s façade takes shapes as a solid façade, while incorporating blinds, meeting both its objectives of seclusion and maintaining its connection to its surroundings. The simple exterior makes way for calm minimalist interiors.
Nezumi Iro priorities creating a design language that moves beyond just a rectangular solid architecture, in which it tries to meet both its objectives of seclusion and maintaining its connection to its surroundings.
The design of this residential project centre on its main façade and interior garden in eastern side of the property. The garden becomes the main source of natural sunlight, ventilation, and pollution filter to the house interior. Double height glazing separating the interior and exterior help blurring the inside and outside, creating an interesting architecture play within the property.
Inspired by the checkered, The contrast between exterior and interior has been very interesting architecture play in this project. While the front-facing façade is nearly entirely solid, the eastern side of the house opens to a private garden through sliding glass doors
